Inspired by the themes in "Little Ida's Flowers" by Hans Christian Andersen this tale examines peritraumatic dissociation and sexual assault.

SYNOPSIS-  When teenage Ida is assaulted in the woods she retreats into a fantasy world where she encounters Miss Professor Deerling, a kind but bossy deer. The Professor and the compassionate flowers of the forest counsel Ida as she comes to grips with her traumatic experience.
